Preliminary Ballot Bram Stoker Awards

Some good news. Jeannie Eddy (she's Mark Worthen's--the  HWA compiler's wife)
just called me to let me know that "1925: A Fall River Halloween"  (published in Shroud Magazine #10) made
it to the next level and is on the preliminary ballot in the Bram Stoker Award process.
More good news: Also on the preliminary ballot:  my collection, DEATHWATCH, and one of my novellas, "Dissolution."

Deathwatch by Lisa Mannetti, Shadowfall Publications, Dec 2010

  2. Lisa, not to burst your bubble, but the preliminary ballot has not yet been made official and won't be for another 8-9 days.

  3. Sorry, Ellen, for the delayed reply, I just saw this. And, of course, you're one hundred per cent right. I didn't know it wasn't official when I was contacted (I assumed everyone was contacted) and certainly had no clue it wasn't for public consumption or I wouldn't have posted it! Again, my sincere apologies.
